Before you receive source files, it is important to ensure that the files have been prepared properly at each phase of the production process so that their original metadata is preserved.
If the original metadata has not been preserved, you can use other types of data (such as File Creation Date or File Name) to find related channels. However, the matching process will be easier if metadata has been preserved.
